Brian Ngan BDS

After 4 years at Canterbury University Brian successfully completed his Bachelors Degree of Engineering in Chemical Engineering! That’s right - chemical engineering?? It was only a couple years later that Brian returned to university to this time complete a degree in Dental Surgery – now over 30 years ago.

John Chong BDS

John is a self proclaimed foodie – loving all variety of exotic and local tasty treats. He specifically told us "My passion for food is equal to my enthusiasm for exercise". Given he completed the Taupo Ironman back in 2009 - we can only conclude he must be crazy passionate about food!

Rhonda Ding BDS

Rhonda is a regular down at the Burnside Park Tennis Club, having played since high school. It’s no secret that Rhonda and Brian are keen ballroom dancers, with line dancing being another love of Rhonda’s. Today Burnside tennis courts - tomorrow Dancing With the Stars maybe?

Jo Chen-Green BDS

Graduated from Otago Dental School in 2010, Jo initially worked in private clinics in Wellington before broadening her experience working in Singapore, and then volunteering in Cambodia, Laos and Timor Leste. In her spare time she enjoys pottery, painting and wood-work. Jo is excited to return to her home city of Christchurch and looks forward to meeting you at Avonhead Dental!

Jennifer Teh BDS

Jennifer in her spare time, (which is hardly any because she runs around after her children!), enjoys baking, cycling and Zumba. Being a conservative dentist, Jennifer enjoys preventive dentistry and helping patients achieve excellent oral health.

Judy McBride

Go Crusaders!!
Judy is a loyal Crusaders fan, and doesn’t miss a game. Not many people know that Judy was previously a radiographer before starting her career as a hygienist. Even less people know about her secret addiction to Suduko and Codebreaker!

Rhon

Shoes, Shoes, Shoes!
Rhon is of the firm belief that a woman can never have too many pairs of shoes. Although she wouldn’t tell us exactly - she did confirm the tally is well over 50 pairs. Rhon has been with Avonhead Dental for over 30 years.

Lee

With over 1 acre of garden, which includes 47 different roses, it could be said that Lee takes her gardening a little more seriously than the average Cantabrian! Lee loves living in North Canterbury on 2 acres, and is passionate about natural medicine, homeopathy and herbs.
